The mission of Masjidul Waritheen is to promote peace, stability, equality, liberty, and dignity within the ummah and within the society at large; to implement the law of Al-Islam in all affairs of the ummah; to produce and maintain an environment which promotes the development of Islamic character in every individual, and which promotes in every individual the will to obey Allah in accordance with Islamic beliefs; to remove all obstacles to its mission; and, to carry the call of Al-Islam to the whole world.

Kindly refrain from engaging in conversations inside the Musalla during sunnah prayers and announcements following Jumu'a. Please move to the multipurpose/cafe area to put on your shoes and converse. Your thoughtfulness towards others is greatly appreciated. Shukron.

As-Salaam Alaikum. Due to the absence of moon sighting on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, the blessed month of Ramadan will commence from the evening of March 11th, 2024, at Maghrib. Remember to firmly set your intentions for fasting.

Furthermore, Taraweeh prayers will begin on March 11th after Isha prayer.
​
Get ready for Ramadan Intensive Sessions: The Rise, The Robbery, The Redemption, The Resurrection, and The Renaissance of Al-Islam in the World. Fridays 5-7pm March 22 thru April 5; and, two parts on Saturdays 11am-1pm & 2:30-4pm March 23 thru April 6.

Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) falls on Ramadan 27 which begins at Mahgrib.

…to Khariyyah Muhammad-Bradshaw, Kareem Muhammad, Talib Idris Muhammad, & Shaheerah Bradshaw-Niang. Rayyah Bradshaw (daughter & youngest sister) returned to Allah in South San Francisco March 6. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un, to Allah we belong and to Him is our eventual return. Condolences can be sent to 1004 Little Hampton Court, SE Atlanta GA 30354.
Also, to Jonathan Bolton (former Oakland CMS student) and his mother, Arnetta Bolton. Ado Bolton (father & husband) returned to Allah in Mississippi March 3. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.

Mar 9, 2024, Sat - Fourth class of 5-week Ramadan Class 9-11am. Two books being used are When the Moon Split by Rahman Mubarakpuri and The Essentials of Ramadan by Tajuddin Shuaib. PDF copies of both books can be read online free. Sheikh Abdul Ra-oof Nasir is the instructor. Refer to him & the flyer for details—(510) 867-7776.
